"You, the Guardian, must defeat the beast that is corrupting the town's sacred magical tree."
Spite - Fractured shards is an Hack 'n slash game inspired by Diablo and Heroes of the Storm. You play as the guardian of the crystal tree to save the town from corruption. You venture down deep into the dungeons to find the source of the corruption. Fight against hordes of enemies and use that experience to upgrade your abilities to become even stronger.
This was my first project in our second year at The Game Assembly. It was very fun and interesting project to work on since it was the first game me and my team members (Sunny side up) developed in our very own game engine called "Eggine". It was also the first project where we were given a longer deadline (14 weeks half time) which made it possible for us in the graphical team to work on a lot more assets. I worked on many different aspects of the game such as the reaper enemy which I created from concept to final model and textured the other enemies. I also worked on a lot of environmental assets and props, but also a lot of the technical parts like creating LOD's for assets.
